Hôm thứ 6 ngày 06/02 Siemens Việt Nam chính thức giới thiệu và chào bán thế hệ Logo mới của Siemens. Đây là thế hệ Logo mới được coi là ưu điểm và thay thế cho các logo thế hệ cũ với các tính năng như sau:
Logo!8 = Logo!6 + Logo!7 ở đây ý nói người ta kết hợp những ưu điểm trên hai thế hệ Logo V6 (dòng Loglo ổn định và bán chạy nhất của Siemens và những cải tiến trên Logo thế hệ 7 như tích hợp Ethernet) vào Logo thế hệ thứ 8.
Vậy Logo thế hệ 8 có đặc điểm gì? các bạn đọc trong phần tiếng anh pphíasau nha. Nhưng mình thì chỉ giới thiệu một số chính:

1. Tích hợp cổng Ethernet: Đây là điều admin thích nhất vì nhiều lúc mua con Logo rẻ hơn mua cái sợi cáp kết nối Logo.
2. Hỗ trợ tính năng gprs điều khiển và cảnh báo từ xa thông qua sms bằng mạng điện thoại (lắp sim bình thường).
3. Màn hình 6 dòng thay vì 4 dòng như trước đây
4. Tương thích tất các các chương trình viết cho các dòng cũ.
5. Giá cả không cao hơn bao nhiêu so với Logo thế hệ 6

Replacement of LOGO! 6 and 7:

Due to the fact that LOGO! 8 is not 100% compatible with LOGO! 6 and 7, direct substitution is not possible. We are planning to supply the LOGO! 6 and 7 series for at least one more year and then declare the product phaseout for LOGO! 6 and 7.
